Alexys Hairston, Sports Writer

Alexys Hairston began writing for the Zephyr as a transfer as a sports writer during her junior year of high school. She transferred to West Forsyth from Hidden Valley High School located in Roanoke, Virginia. Hairston hopes to continue writing and major in sports journalism or sports medicine at the University of Alabama. During her free time Hairston likes to listen to music and hang out with friends. She is extremely outgoing and bubbly. Hairston hopes to continue to write for the Zephyr sports staff as a senior.
