Max Goren is a senior sportswriter for the Zephyr. He joined the staff in the 2016-2017 school year. As an aspiring sportscaster, Goren rarely misses a big game, especially if it involves his world champion Boston Red Sox, Carolina Hurricanes, Carolina Panthers or Wake Forest Demon Deacons.  In his free time, Goren can be found eating an excessive amount of Chick-fil-A, playing ice hockey, jamming out on Guitar Hero, dominating games of table tennis and bantering with inferior staff writer John Williams.
