Whether it’s through the message of a song or just a unique artist, concerts have provided a lively way to experience music in person. Throughout the year, there are hundreds of concerts performed by many anticipated artists. But here are just a few highlights for each month:
Lamb of God: Into the Oblivion Tour -Raleigh, NC – Red Hat Amphitheater – April 16th Lamb of God brings a new type of sound to the world of metal and rock music, with their own distinctive sound known as “groove metal.” It’s sure to get you up and moving. To celebrate the release of their newest album, Into Oblivion, the band is going on a world tour and is making a stop in NC. Just make sure to listen to their newest hits so you can sing along throughout the concert.
Caifanes -Charlotte, NC – The Fillmore Charlotte – May 10th Originally founded in Mexico City, Caifanes is a Mexican rock band that blends the styles of traditional Latin-American music and the classic rock sound to create a unique sound that has led them to stardom.
“Weird Al” Yankovic – Greensboro, NC – Novant Health Fieldhouse at Greensboro Coliseum – June 5th Known for his parodic takes on songs like “Bad,” by Michael Jackson, “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” by Nirvana and “Gangsta’s Paradise,” by Coolio, “Weird Al” Yankovic’s parodies have inspired numerous fans across the globe. With the silly lyrics he puts in place of the more serious themes, his shows are fun for all ages to attend.
Jelly Roll – Wilmington, NC – Live Oak Bank Pavilion – June 8th The Nashville-raised, three-time Grammy-winning country artist Jelly Roll, known for his blending of hip-hop and country music, which focuses on therapeutic and emotional topics, is making his stand in North Carolina.
Billy Joel – Charlotte, NC – Bank of America Stadium – July 3rd The combo of a pianist and a guitarist has served Billy Joel well since the 1970’s with hits like “Piano Man” and “Uptown Girl.” Joel has been maintaining his legendary status with his expressive and articulate style both in the studio and on stage.
Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte: North American Tour 2026 – Charlotte, NC – Truliant Amphitheater – August 16th The two heavy metal bands Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte are teaming up to tour North America and bring their equally innovative takes on the genre of metal. Avenged Sevenfold are known for their metalcore sound and their evolution of the genre, while Good Charlotte mixes the themes of punk with the sound of metal to bring a new take to the genre.
Demi Lovato – Charlotte, NC – Spectrum Center – April 8th From her original stardom starting in the 2000s on Disney Channel, the child actress turned Musician has released hits like “Sorry Not Sorry”, “Heart Attack” and “Cool for the Summer.” Lovato promises to bring a high-energy, almost club like experience for all concert goers
Doja Cat — Charlotte, NC- Spectrum Center – Nov 18 Known for her genre-defining rap music and unique style, the six-time MTV award winner Doja Cat is set to put on another memorable performance that will shake the ground and be enjoyable for fans new and old.
For those who are planning on going to one or many performances, make sure to keep safe by knowing how to leave if needed, wearing earplugs to prevent permanent ear damage, and avoiding dense crowds. But most importantly, you need to have fun.
