As the leaves change and chills fill the air, it’s a sign that the spooky season is right around the corner. West students are preparing for this time of year in many different ways, so we asked them what they plan to do for Halloween.
“I’m going to be an ’80s workout girl with my boyfriend. I just like the bright colors, and I think It is cute,” senior Lillian Garrison said.
“Friday, during school, we’re planning on being frat boys, then after school, when it’s time for parties and stuff. We’re going to be animals. I’m Daphne, I’m going to be a cheetah, and she’s Serena, she’s going to be a bunny,” juniors Daphne Roberts and Sarina Khan said.
“For Halloween, I’m going to be Strawberry Shortcake because my hair is red and I just love Strawberry Shortcake. Afterwards, I might just hang out with some friends and watch scary movies and eat snacks,” junior Nalani Jones said.
“I’m going to go trick-or-treating with my friends, then we’re gonna go to my house, eat some food, and watch a scary movie. I plan to dress as Zoey from K-Pop Demon Hunters,” senior Ana York said.
“I’m deciding between a vampire or a bunny. I’m dressing up, trick or treating, getting candy, and then maybe afterwards have a sleepover with my friends,” sophomore Diana Valerio said.
“I was planning on matching with my friend, we’re not sure yet, and I probably plan on trick-or-treating with a few of my friends,” junior Tina Lin said.
“I’m going trick-or-treating and have a lot of candy, I’m going as Terry McLaurin, the NFL Washington Commanders,” junior Darius Greenly said.
“I was going to dress up as Jason from ‘Friday the 13th,’ watch horror movies like ‘Halloween’ or ‘IT,’” freshman Julian Navarro said.
From trick-or-treating in cute costumes to simple festive gatherings with friends, titans have diverse plans for this Halloween and are excited for the holiday to come around.
