Tyson Edwards, Co-Editor in Chief

Having written for the Zephyr since his sophomore year, Tyson Edwards has grown tremendously in his communication skills and comedic wit. Once an Opinion Writer and then an Opinion Editor, Edwards is ready to take on the challenge of Co-Editor in Chief. Edwards is fully invested in the newspaper and likes to provide a comedic spin to whatever he sets his mind to, most famously his annual food reviews. Who else would’ve been there to ask the big questions in life, like how is Maroon 5 still popular? Is college ruled paper truly better than its wide lined counterparts? And who really has the best chicken nuggets in Clemmons, North Carolina?

Cursive is cursed

Tyson Edwards, Opinion Editor January 15, 2019

Read the writing on the wall: cursive is a relic of the past. Its absence from most elementary schools today should be a clear representation of that fact. Never once have I needed cursive to get through...

Phones need to upgrade their innovation

Tyson Edwards, Opinion Editor November 23, 2018

Look at your phone; what do you see? You should probably see scratches and cracks like most teenagers’ phones. I dropped my phone last summer, and because of how karma worked out, I shattered the top...
