It’s the heavily anticipated rivalry game we wait for each year: Titans. vs. Raiders. On Friday, we traveled to Reagan. The Titans dominated the Raiders with a 27-0 win, eliminating any chance of the Raiders touching the end zone Titans showed up and dressed out for the neon theme and wore bright neon colors to make it clear who the winning team was.
The soccer team played on the road against Parkland on Wednesday and beat them 8-1. Goalkeeper and Athlete of the Month Riley Powell received a red card in the last game against Mount Tabor and was not permitted to play in the Parkland game.
On Tuesday, the girls’ tennis team played in the Central Piedmont 4A Conference Tournament in Mocksville.
The field hockey team played against Reagan on Monday and lost 3-0. They also played against Asheville on Thursday and lost.
The girl’s volleyball team played against R.J. Reynolds on Tuesday, winning 3-0. They then played their last regular season match against East Forsyth on Thursday and won 3-1.
The cross-country team did not have a meet this week. The Central Piedmont Conference Championship is coming up on Oct. 16.
The girls’ golf team had a conference match on Monday at Bermuda Run West. They placed second out of eight teams.
