Back and better, the football team was thirsty for a win after their loss last Friday. The team took on Parkland Thursday, instead of Friday due to the harsh weather and won 22-19.
Before the game, the committee of the Hall of Fame inducted several members into the Hall of Fame.
The girls’ golf team had a conference match Tuesday at Reynolds Park and placed second. They also had another conference match Wednesday at Pine Knolls, in which they placed first.
The boys’ soccer team had a home game this week, in which they played against Davie on Monday and won by mercy rule, a rule which will end a game earlier than usual if there is a significant difference in points. The final score for their game against Davie was 9-0. They also played against RJ Reynolds on Wednesday and won 3-2.
The girls’ tennis team took on Reagan at home on Monday and lost 8-1. Then on Wednesday, they traveled to play against Davie and lost this match 9-0.
The girls’ volleyball team played against Parkland on Tuesday and won 3-0 and then played against them again on Wednesday at home winning 3-0. The girls played Glenn on Thursday and dominated once again winning 3-0.
The field hockey team battled against RJ Reynolds on Wednesday and lost 0-9.
The cross country team’s next meet is the CPC XC Meet #3 which will take place Oct. 2.
