When doom-scrolling through social media, there are two things that tend to stick out: brain rot and hysterical beefing between two well-known influencers. Currently on social media/TikTok, nepo-baby (a child of a celebrity), Alabama Barker, daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, as well as Bhad Bhabie (Danielle Bregoli), have been butting heads with each other.
Ever since her appearance on the Dr. Phil show in 2016, Bhad Bhabie has been in the spotlight for her reckless behavioral issues, as well as a popular phrase that is still used to this day, “Catch me outside, how ’bout that?” Not only did she gain recognition from the show, but also from her rap career, where she sang “Gucci Flip Flops.” With this being said, people have known who Bhad Bhabie is whereas, people are just now discovering who Alabama Barker is.
“I prefer Bhad Bhabie all the way. Alabama came out of nowhere and decided to act strange for no reason,” freshman Brelon Davidson said.
This feud had all started in Dec. of 2024, when Bhad Bhabie accused Alabama Barker of having a relationship with her now ex-boyfriend Le Vaughn, the father of Bhad Bhabie’s child. According to Bhabie, she had found out that Alabama had invited Vaughn to her house despite knowing that they had a fling in the past. Barker, however, had denied that she was with him and how Vaughn had claimed that he was “single”. Due to this, it caused tension between both social media stars, with most fans defending Bhabie and criticizing Barker.
“Alabama cannot defend herself for nothing, I can’t get around how terrible her rap skills are,” freshman Tirsten Davis said.
Things escalated when Bhad Bhabie had released her diss track labeled “Over cooked,” where she made several accusations of Barker’s personal life. Barker then responded with her diss track, “Cry Bhabie,” where she explains that Bhad Bhabie was obsessed with the drama as well as lashing out at Bhabie’s daughter, Kali Love, which caused tons of backlash. When this diss track was released, it was believed that Alabama had made a fool out of herself.
“Why would Alabama talk about her baby like that? That’s so weird. Anyways, Bhad Bhabie all the way,” senior Destiny Jordan said.
Bhad Bhabie then clapped-back at Barker with her diss track “Ms. Whitman,” including a video with a Travis Barker lookalike and in this song, she attempts to get under Alabama’s skin. Ever since the release of this song, it has gotten a lot of attention and more people towards Bhad Bhabie’s side.
“She [Bhad Bhabie] acts better, looks better and she is better. Her name is literally Bhad Bhabie, she’s literally bad,” sophomore Forever Davis said.
Although Bhad Bhabie is noticeably the winner in this feud, according to basically everyone, this beef will remain iconic throughout pop culture and social media.
