Thanksgiving is here! The wonderful holiday is being celebrated today, Nov. 22, with a big parade sponsored by Novant Health and taking place in Charlotte. Located in front of the Duke Energy building, the parade will include street vendors providing hot drinks and snacks. It’s long been an NC tradition, with 2018 being its 71st year since it was founded in 1947. Showing up in person isn’t even necessary! The event will be broadcasted on WBTV and CBS on Thanksgiving Day at 4 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase right now, VIP tickets, which guarantee a front row seat, are also now available. Whether you’re willing to buy tickets now, or are planning to stay home all day, experiencing the glory of the parade isn’t hard to do.
